Rev. Richard Hood was born and raised in Waltham, Massachusetts. He is a lifelong UU. He graduated from Tufts University and Colgate Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, NY.
While in Rochester he met his wife, Molly. They have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
Rev. Hood was the administrator and part owner of an assisted living facility in Rochester as well as a part time minister of the Pullman Memorial Universalist Church in Albion, NY. He retired from Pullman Memorial after 35 years of service and was named Minister Emeritus.
Dick and Molly have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. Thirteen years ago, they moved from Rochester to Sun City Hilton Head. They live in Maine part of the year.
