The Holland Sanctuary is surrounded by nature, offering a light and bright space for weddings, recitals, and more. Tall windows and plenty of light create a serene space for small-to-large events such as weddings, recitals, and large group gatherings.
A spacious prep kitchen, soundboard, and piano are available as add-ons (for a fee).
Clara Barton Room
Multi-use small group space
Suitable for recurrent meetings, as well as one-time gatherings, of approximately 1-25 people.
Additional folding tables and chairs are available.
Religious Education Rooms
Multi-purpose spaces
Three rooms in the same wing offering the multi-age and multi-purpose spaces.
A larger "teen" room in the back offers a sofa, table, and chairs.

Building and room rentals in Bluffton, South Carolina
UUCL offers event space and meeting rooms at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Lowcountry in Bluffton. The building is available to members and nonmembers for one-time events and recurring gatherings.
Our Malphrus Road location is an option for people planning events in Bluffton, nearby Hilton Head Island, and the surrounding Lowcountry. Ask the office about the room, setup, and rental terms that fit your gathering.

What rooms can I rent at UUCL?
Options include the Holland Sanctuary for weddings, recitals, and group gatherings; the Clara Barton Room for small meetings; and multi-purpose Faith Development rooms. The large event rental can include the sanctuary, hall, and kitchen. Contact the office to confirm which spaces are available for your event.
Can nonmembers rent the building?
Yes. Building and room rentals are available to people who are not members of UUCL. Ask the office for the third-party rental requirements.
Is there space for recurring meetings in Bluffton?
Yes. The Clara Barton Room is suitable for recurring meetings and one-time small group gatherings. Additional folding tables and chairs are available. Email the office to discuss your meeting schedule and room needs.
Can I rent space for a wedding or recital?
The Holland Sanctuary is available for weddings, recitals, and larger gatherings. Tall windows bring natural light into the space. A soundboard and piano are available as paid add-ons. Ask about your event setup and equipment needs when requesting a tour.
Does the rental include a kitchen?
A spacious prep kitchen is available as a paid add-on. It does not have full cooking capabilities. Discuss food preparation and kitchen access with the office before making arrangements.
