MoM Presents: Josh Joffen

Award-winning songwriter, singer and guitarist Josh Joffen lives here in South Carolina, but is a son of of Brooklyn, NY.  Bitten by the folk music bug, Josh crossed the East River into Greenwich village to   learn the art and craft of songwriting and performing.  He’s gone on to become a featured artist at clubs, coffeehouses, house concerts and festivals around and beyond the East Coast, doing shows with a galaxy of stars in the folk universe. 

Musically, Josh weaves traditional and modern folk, jazz, and pop influences into a tapestry of tunings and guitar voicings.  Lyrically, he says his songs are "funny, poetic, reflective, inspiring and exuberant. Just not all at once."
