"In spite of all of the things that we currently face in the world, it is important that we continue to search for peace  In the scope of national cultural preservation and history, practitioners are faced with threats to funding, opportunities and clear futures.  With the upcoming America250 celebration and the 100th anniversary of Negro History Week (Black History Month) on the horizon, the address will focus on celebrating what is, what can be and how we can find peace in the midst of foolishness."
